Tour highlights:

  • Gobustan:  Located in a mountainous area northwest of Baku, this UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its thousands of petroglyphs (rock carvings) dating back as far as the Mesolithic era. The Qobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve also features a museum.
  • Heydar Aliyev Centre: Designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid, this fluid, curvilinear building houses a museum, exhibition halls, and a conference centre. Its innovative design and soaring spaces make it a must-see attraction.
  • Atashgah: The Fire Temple is a Zoroastrian religious site located in the suburb of Surakhani, near Baku.  The site’s history dates back to before the 17th century, and it was once a place of pilgrimage for Zoroastrians and later by Hindu fire worshippers from India.
